The Experience
During your initial consultation, we'll discuss your levels of comfort, preferred style and different locations for your shoot. You can choose somewhere that means something to you, at home, or somewhere you think is pretty; wherever you feel most relaxed. We can suggest a few places for you but in the end, it's your opinion that matters. The best times of day for portrait photography is an hour after the sun has risen or an hour before the sun sets. These times make make for the best photos but we are happy to work around you and your schedule.
On the shoot day, we'll arrive early and scout the location for the best spots, creating a seamless portrait shoot for you. Once you arrive, we'll take you to various spots around the location and capture natural and posed portraits. If children are joining us, we'll encourage them to be themselves and play in whatever way they would like. we'll follow them around and take their photograph in a way that makes them feel comfortable. We don't mind getting muddy as children play - we this makes for perfect pictures!
The day after your shoot, we'll edit a sneak peek and add it to your own private gallery. Once you're happy, we'll edit the rest and add those too. If you've chosen Collection 3 for your package, you'll be able to download all the images. If not, you'll be able to select your choices and download them to keep. You can either print the images yourself, or you do have the option to buy various size professional prints and wall art in our online store.
